Complete Smile Restoration — One Comprehensive Plan
When multiple teeth are damaged, worn, or missing, the solution isn't one procedure — it's a coordinated plan that addresses everything. Full mouth reconstruction combines implants, crowns, bridges, and other restorations into a single treatment plan designed to restore your ability to eat, speak, and smile with confidence.
This is exactly what prosthodontists are trained for. At Northern Colorado Dental Specialty, our doctors have three extra years of specialized training in complex, multi-tooth restoration. We handle cases that general dentists refer out — and we do it all under one roof, with an on-site dental lab for precision fabrication at every stage.
Why patients choose us:
- Prosthodontists — specialists in complex, multi-tooth restoration
- On-site lab — every restoration crafted in-house for consistent results
- Comprehensive planning — implants, crowns, bridges, and dentures in one plan
- Cases others refer out — we handle the complex work general dentists can't
- 20+ years — serving Fort Collins, Loveland, and Northern Colorado

More FAQsWhat to Expect
The full mouth reconstruction process will be guided by our expert team who have completed thousands of these procedures. It is a simple 5-step process:
-
1
Consultation
Meet directly with our dental and facial specialists and find out everything else you need to know about full mouth reconstruction. We will address all of your personal questions and concerns and if you are a candidate for full mouth reconstruction, we will create an initial treatment plan and timeline for the rest of the process.
-
2
Exam and Mouth Impressions
We will run diagnostics, take images of your mouth and teeth, as well as make needed impressions. With this information, we will come up with the optimal treatment plan for your personal situation and schedule your procedure appointments.
-
3
Procedure
Some options include: crown lengthening, surgery to the jaw, reduction of natural tooth structure, placement of temporary and permanent solutions, and some tissue grafting.
-
4
Post-Op Recovery & Appointments
You will need some time to heal and recover after the procedure and it will take anywhere from a few weeks to several months. We like to see you multiple times for post-operative appointments to ensure that you are healing properly.
-
5
Develop and deliver final permanents (if applicable)
Depending on the required treatment, this is the final phase in which we will complete impressions and try-ins to develop your final teeth. This may require multiple reviews so that we can ensure that you are completely happy with your new permanent teeth. Once the finals are approved, we will place them directly on your implants.
